COLUMBIA, SC — DESA, Inc. is pleased to announce that Camille Williams Shaw, Director of Conference and Event Management Services, has recently earned the Certification in Meeting Management (CMM) designation. Shaw is one of fifty-one professionals from around the world to be awarded the prestigious designation in the latest CMM class. The CMM designation recognizes the strategic decision-making ability of industry leaders, as well as their ability to manage and deliver exceptional meetings and events that drive organizational success. It is awarded by Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the premier global association community for meeting and event professionals.
Shaw, who has directed DESA’s conference management team for more than 15 years, serves as program manager for many of DESA’s projects. She is responsible for overseeing all aspects of conferences, including planning, managing schedules, designating job tasks, executive reporting, finance and budgeting.
